I've certainly missed a lot since Israel clearly isn't the topic i'm looking the most into nowadays, and i'm only spending ~'an hour' each day to watch the news. /c/Palestine@lemmy.ml covered other attacks during that same period, and many more similar events were probably never reported.
The israelis want to force their opponents into submission, instead of aiming for a solution that'd please every side, and which would require concessions on the western side. So we'll just lie about a war necessary for alleged nuclear weapons(, or to liberate them, more rarely admitting that it's only to destroy the last opponents of Israel), instead of seeking a peaceful solution together(, because we don't want to make concessions).
