This will probably never get properly investigated, will never lead to societal outrage, yet they cry war when someone unalives a cis white boy shouting vitriol off the highest rooftops. -_-

Hoo boy, the article wasn't kidding. The local news story does misgender her repeatedly. (WWBT is owned by Gray Media before anyone reflexively jumps to Sinclair.)

EDIT: Given the language of the article and given that The Progress-Index had basically the same wording, I'm going to conclude WWBT got effectively a press release from the police for publication and had minimal if any involvement in investigating this story. Fairly typical of local news stories about crimes.
