Essentially, they are not confident in the viability of a commercial marketplace for humans there, and the agency’s plan to work with private companies to develop independent space stations does not appear to be headed toward success.

Even if it would work out technically for Axiom, it sucks to tell Voyager and Blue Origin to stick their hub on someone else's hub and not have their own station at the end of all of this.

This is probably only good for Vast, who seems to be building their own thing regardless, but they probably want NASA as a major client at some point.

Can't have international stations once toddlers took over.
