Fun fact: In the Weimar Republik (and modern day Germany) there was a slogan to promote the police and make it seem more friendly. "Die Polizei, dein Freund und Helfer" - "The police your friend and helper". This however is grammatically wrong, as 'die Polizei' is grammatically female, while the male versions of 'friend' and 'helper' are used. Gegner des Volkes (enemy of the people) however would be grammatically male, but for some reason they didn't use that for the slogan 🤔
