Today’s a work holiday for my job in the U.S. so I get to do exactly that 😄 may you get the chance to do the same soon!

It’s so much fun when cats actively prefer ear pets (by their nature of course, not medical conditions).

Kitty ears are so soft and warm and seeing them blissed out by the scritches is magical.

May you have many more happy ear-scritchie times with your boy 🐱

Sincerely and genuinely thank you for answering. The context is so sweet aww

I have so many questions.

What is that creature? Why does it have tomatoes on it? Who is holding it? Is that part of the shame? Did it put itself in the shower or did the hand-haver put it there? Why do I feel so much emotion for an unidentifiable cartoon critter?

Is this reverse loss?

Also their cake.

Yeah the word “theft” usually connotes harm via taking away the possession of another. Identity sale or even light identity “fraud” if you’re being pedantic, but hardly theft if the originator of the account is knowingly transferring it away from themselves, especially for monetary gain.

Put on music that demands that i move and swear/scream my way through it but that works maybe 2 out of 7 times.

There’s also “let me pick something else to do” and sometimes I’ll accomplish my intended task via procrastinating my other chosen task. Or I get the other thing done which isn’t bad either ¯\(ツ)

Gotta extract more value from the reduced user base. Think Netflix. Plus, they gotta recoup AI “investment” costs, and the remaining people on Xitter are predominantly mouth breathing rubes.

Add that to foresight only as far as the next quarter and it’s the most logical recipe for success /s

Cipro is brutal. Last time I took it 2 days in I felt like my tendons were disintegrating. I couldn’t even pour myself a cup of coffee without crying.

I was able to take it a couple times before without too much issue, but Jesus it doesn’t play around.

Sounds also like Alice in Wonderland Syndrome, since you mention primarily having it during childhood. I had similar experiences but the derealization changed form as I got older.

ETA: Looks like mono can be a cause of it - I had mono as a tot that lasted a couple years. Maybe you had similar issues?

I'm updated through the AUR, and said update pushed just a few hours ago.

My default search engine (a custom Searx instance) keeps being overridden to DuckDuckGo when I reopen my browser. I deleted the line in the about:config about 5 times now, to no avail. Anyone else having this problem?

Alt textTwo photo cut-outs of opossums, each with a pair of scissors photoshopped to look like they’re being held by said opossums. Orange text is overlaid onto a pink-and-yellow background that says “Screw the government: run with scissors.”

Found on Pinterest, source seems to be “The Anxious Opossum” on Facebook.
