The Cure for hyperthermia is prevention.

Frosty coded

ETA: “good job” could maybe work. It doesn’t address the human directly but said right could get the same vibe

The answer will always be threatening the printer with a hammer.

One of the outsides gets so mad at me when it rains. It’s not just that it happened and I can make it stop (?), it’s like it’s my fault specifically that it started.

The most ridiculous part is that she refuses to come inside despite our efforts. We’re trying!

Your analysis is certainly interesting and seems to come from a lot of personal experience. There are definitely folks out there who treat their OS of choice like religious piety rather than personal preference. Haiku looks fascinating! It’s cool to see innovation.

Wait people have issue with FreeBSD? (Clarifying: not here as an evangelist/enthusiast)

I usually hear the Linux/Windows dichotomy but maybe I’m not in the right circles to hear FBSD hate. Genuinely curious what the complaints are, if you’re up for sharing

Unless it’s legitimately a mispost (egregiously wrong place) I’ll usually just edit if I was wrong and let it stand for posterity so other fediverse users aren’t left wondering

It’s very KenM coded, especially where the bug report is from someone who goes by “RaidShadowJesus”

I’m glad this serves as explanation for the non cat people and vindication for the cat-havers.

What I didn’t see mentioned was grooming as a means to establish hierarchy. I’ve noticed mine have a sort of pecking order based on who grooms who. Like my momma cat will groom both her babies, and then one of those babies (grown now) grooms his sister and she’s kind of the runt/shy kitty. My other girl is not fond of being groomed by any of them as she’s much more independent.

I’ll never understand people who accuse wholesome experiences of being fetish content :(

This is such a cute moment! I hope you get to enjoy it for reals with your special person 💜 thanks again for sharing this adorable and authentic sweetness /gen /pos

I’ll sooner believe Star Citizen will be released than ES6 at this point

Cowbee is pretty notoriously long winded and erm, prolific in their comments, if that’s who you’re talking about.

I think China + Russia might be their special interest which would explain the level of “enthusiasm” they have at mention of either. It may also explain the repetitiveness of what they say. Not that they’re necessarily right, but they don’t seem botlike from my experience.

There are a handful of full rabid tankie trolls over in .ml though, so if you dealt with any of those and haven’t blocked I’d recommend doing so now.

I'm updated through the AUR, and said update pushed just a few hours ago.

My default search engine (a custom Searx instance) keeps being overridden to DuckDuckGo when I reopen my browser. I deleted the line in the about:config about 5 times now, to no avail. Anyone else having this problem?

Lightly edited to fit comm rules

Alt textTwo photo cut-outs of opossums, each with a pair of scissors photoshopped to look like they’re being held by said opossums. Orange text is overlaid onto a pink-and-yellow background that says “Screw the government: run with scissors.”

Found on Pinterest, source seems to be “The Anxious Opossum” on Facebook.
