As the title, we (Lemmy users) are not posting comics to instead have meta discussions about rules. Should we keep this in one place at the top of the comm?

It will make it clearer to find what the discussions are about, it will make it cleaner by having less text posts in the feed, and most importantly it will make me like I contributed by seeing it there knowing I had a part in it.

I find it strange that there's a discussion about whether to credit artists or not at all

Better make the rule says "unmodified". Not every author puts a CC-BY on their work but at least we can have clean environment here.

Just include the author in the title, in addition to your suggestion.

This is the dumbest argument ever. Is there really more than just this one guy fighting for this?

I came across this post after checking the rules to see if there was a “must credit original artist” rule, and was frankly shocked to find out there isn’t, which means Beep isn’t breaking any rules by plagiarizing other people’s comics.

So yeah, we need a place to discuss this type of thing, and hopefully the mod will be responsive and add the new rule.

It shouldn’t be controversial, I’m sick of seeing uncredited art.

Whatever, I've already blocked him. I would rather have my feed without his disgusting reposts.

If we have that rule in place we can ban other malicious users too. Better even "must link to source in body". Any violator receives a three-day ban on the first offense then perma ban.
