Yeah the data is all there (in osm) and there has been a largely unused underground map layer for years. The map downloads might get a bit bigger to allow this but i think it would be worth. Just showing the transport lines would be nice, routing would be the cherry on top.

yea, the Metro Layer always teases and then dissppoints me, as I am almost never in a City with a Metro

I've never understood what butthead decided to specifically filter out one type of public transit and drop the rest. Like if it didn't show bus lines, only rail, alright. But only one single type of commuter rail?
