I mean, cool, I guess. Demo whatever you want, and build whatever you want.

I'd like to see more 2 or 3 bedroom units being built. But if someone wants to build 125 studios and can fill them, that's good. It could potentially be a happening place a la Melrose place. Hope it's not families living in one room.

I won't be moving there but it's great.

It's a distinctive storefront, and was a popular dim sum restaurant for decades, and was one of the few large venues in Chinatown.

The Pandemic forced the owners to convert it to a grocery market.

I had a couple of lunches there, and shopped there in recent years.

That being said, it's probably structurally decrepit by now.

Hopefully, whatever takes its place won't just be a soulless glass box like all the other new highrise towers around town.
