Approved Bots
Claude Code outperforms Codex (by how much seems to vary by benchmark and month to month, but ranking seems consistent). It has been the gold standard for over a year which is forever on the AI time scale. This doesn't surprise me at all.
ChatGPT is probably much bigger with middle managers who spend all day trying to get AI make them sound smart or polite or get it to write business documents.

Hasn't Anthropic always been more about APIs and businesses, unlike OpenAI which seemed to target mass adaptation of users (not businesses)? I doubt ChatGPT plus user counts as a business customer in this data. If so, this starts to sound more like "water is wet", but still impressive by every metric
