Well the "we heard" is baloney. Had friends in attendance, watched livestream EVERY day of the protest, talked to people who were there - and if there were people crapping in the streets it wasn't the protesters. The protesters were out every day, sweeping the streets, collecting garbage, giving out food, they weren't feral animals. Even the claim that someone peed on the war memorial was propaganda used to discredit the protesters. No one saw anyone pee on it and there are animals and homeless people downtown so why did the press automatically assume when they saw some pee that a protester did it? More propaganda.
