After 10 minutes in episode one I switched to black and white, and I wish they would have added some artificial film grain into the picture to give it more of an old look. In it's best moments it felt like Humphrey Bogart could walk by any minute. But overall this show was more fun than I thought. I would not say no to a second season.

If we get a season 2 I would love to see Mysterio. He's one of my favorite villains and I think a magician would be a fun 1950s character.
1930s :)
I only know Mysterio from the new Spiderman movie, I'm looking forward to it!
In this setting I imagine him like the villain from the old Flash Gordon serials. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ming_the_Merciless That would be fun!!
Oh you're absolutely right! 1930s.
Mysterio from the newer Spider-Man films is an excellent version of him. It's all one big trick, he's charismatic, it's great.
I definitely think he'd be over the top theatrical, but I picture more of a Houdini knock off.
Megawatt? It's a cool name but just go with Electro. Whatever.
Overall that was a fun season. I really enjoyed Nic Cage as an older zanier Spider-Man or for perhaps rights reasons "Mr Spider". Robbie playing Spider was excellent, while Silvermane was an excellent mobster villain I think ~~Electro~~ Megawatt stole the show. Plus is death was perfect.
