Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

The article interviews several parents talking about their kid's gender and the kid's opinion is never mentioned. Narcissists of the world rejoice!

A year later, his daughter stopped taking the hormone after it "didn't make her happy" and is now living as a girl again.

Like any medication ever prescribed... it might not help and you might have to stop taking it.

"Dr Charlotte Canniff, joint chief medical officer for Surrey and Sussex ICB, said that most young patients registered at the clinic had now been referred to specialist NHS gender services for treatment."

So despite the scare mongering and general "going behind the parents' backs" theme of the article, most of them are continuing treatment.
