From March of this year:

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth indicated Monday that the justification for the offensive was Iran's "swelling arsenal of ballistic missiles and killer drones," which he said they were using to "create a conventional shield for their nuclear blackmail ambitions."

So there was officially no point at all?

The point is... the whole reason the US lost the war and failed so abysmally at is also now the reason the US went to war in the first place (which the US then lost and failed abysmally at).

Took attention off him running a pedo ring w/ Epstein, including some murders of girls and of Epstein himself

It’s true, but at a certain point we have to acknowledge how stupid all of this is. He didn’t just undo Obama’s efforts to keep weapons out of the Middle East. He started a war with the same stated goal, lost, and then said it was okay if they get nukes? And that’s not even all the nuance of the stupid in this situation.

Every day there’s a news story that makes me let out the biggest, most defeated, most tired sigh. I can’t believe we’re here. That this is reality. Epstein stuff included.

Great, another state with weapons of mass destruction, just what we needed. 🙄

I don't think Iran's developed a catapult that can throw nuclear reactors

Also gonna be honest here, but after this atrocity of the last few months, Iran should be more concerned with what they need rather than "what we needed"; they should absolutely follow in the DPRK's footsteps
