Thanks for reading all of this, even if you didn't read all of this, and your eye started somewhere else, have a watermelon slice ๐.
Plants definitely crave Brondo
When I worked on construction sites in the summer, nothing tasted better than a Gatorade at the end of the day.
Although that was the 80s when they only had green (lime?) or orange flavours, and they seemed more like a real taste. Now the product flavours don't seem like anything.
When it is very hot your body loses said electrolytes through sweating. So yes, they do.
My apartment is cool as shit tho and I'm only slightly more active than a cadaver
It's not just heat and workout. You can get malnourished and crave for some nutrients. Is your diet balanced?
Or maybe you just like the taste idk
I think it reminds me umami in a way. There is a smoothnees and magnet-y-ness to it that is enticing to me
It seems like it to me, whenever I work outside in the summer
Our bodies often know what they need. Cravings are often how they communicate it. Electrolytes taste amazing when you need them.
Interestingly, our brains seem to contain a fairly good lookup between smell and nutrition. An interesting diet I've seen is to get a good selection of fruit and vegetables. For each meal, sniff them. If any smell particularly good to you, base a meal off of them.
Fasinating, I'll have to share that with a foodie relative
It's called pika
Isnt that the eating metal thing?
Or something about kids in Africa eating dirt when they're iron deficient?
It's most commonly iron, and traditionally pregnant women do it the most.
