geez. My wife and I tried this to see if it would help with her pain without being an opiod. I dunno if our genetics or what but it did not seem to have much of an effect and its expensive to boot. Certainly not worth it. Both of us feel opiods don't have much of an effect but like if you don't take em when you have surgery you just can't function. She gets like all the side effects with stuff so we have pill cutters and such to try and see if she can have littel enough to get by without to many nasty side effects.

Helps me a ton
yeah just cracks me up what I think of as such a weak thing is outlawed. definately one of those things where alcohol is worse.
In my experience with my own surgery and injuries, most of the time the doctors get the dosage of painkillers right for me, but if the initial prescription is not working, I've always had the option to go back to the doctor and ask for a higher dose, or even a different drug.
Of course, make sure you stop taking it as soon as you can to avoid getting addicted, dispose of the remaining pills at your local pharmacy drop box, so nobody else can get them, etc.
Unsupervised self-medication isn't a great idea.
usually we are cutting it for her to take less or less at one time. It is really due to the side effects. Its a question of things like nasea vs pain and yes she gets nausea medication now but its often not enough. For some folks there is not perfect level.
