Xbox was just way too early with that idea. If they were to launch that digital game swapping system in a future time period when no one is using physical games anymore and the internet is truly ubiquitous and reliable, there would be little to no backlash. But no, they tried to launch it in an era when physical games were still extremely common and Internet connections were often bad.
