Then instead of using a browser dependent on Chromium, use a browser based on Firefox.

— that’s a stacked deck, and no one should treat this feature as a permanent solution if they’re already paying too much for streaming subscriptions they’d rather avoid.

There's solutions for avoiding paying too much for streaming subscriptions too.

It's on top of the OS default one, in Mac is based on Safari.

But YT always comes up with patches. It's a cat and mouse chase. Would be cool if they could publish these workarounds like the developer of nadeko or the freetube.

I think it can work like ublock origin because it uses the same filter list.

Youtube tried to win against ublock origin, but they lost a few days later, I believe they updated the filter list during this time.
