Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

The third, on 20 April, said: “If a trans-identified male is in a female-only space, he is committing a violent, abusive act. Make a scene, call the cops and, if all else fails, punch him in the balls.”

Linehan insisted at the time that while he may have been guilty of making a “bad joke”, he had not been aiming to encourage violence.

Great, now people on TERF island are getting paid to tell their followers to physically assault transgender people.

The judge found that the writer had taken Brooks’s phone because he was “angry and fed up” and had damaged it by knocking it to the ground.

The conviction for damaging their mobile phone was also overturned on appeal.

And get to damage their property without repercussions.

Wait. In what world is literally telling your followers to physically attack trans people not inciting violence?? What the actual fuck is wrong with everyone involved in this story?

If a transphobe is in a space, they are committing a violent, abusive act. Make a scene, call the cops and, if all else fails, punch them in the face.

Someone should kick Graham Linehan in the balls until he is no longer identifiable as a male.

Remember, this is apparently not considered a call to incite violence, so it's all OK. :)

This is bad, actually. "The met no longer investiges non-crime hate incidents"

Or is it not? I find it hard to tell.

Didn't know the police could apologise to you 💀

That's not what I would have given him.
