Everything is about interest. It serves the interests of Europe and others. But Russia's invasion of Ukraine doesn't serve the interests of Europe, so sanction Russia but no sanction on brother Israel!

The UK literally created Israel.

After WWI the Brits controlled the area under mandate in the Treaty of Versailles. In 1917 the UK issued the Balfour Declaration pledging support for the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine.

Post WWI, the Brits sponsored heavy Jewish immigration into Palestine. After WWII, they explicitly supported Israeli independence.
