President Donald Trump says he is reinstating a U.S. blockade on the Strait of Hormuz, but that it remains open. Iran says it's closed. There is no sign of progress in peace talks, with both sides launching strikes on Monday.

I can’t believe I trust Iran more than the US. Two years ago I never would’ve believed it.

Congrats on starting to pay attention in the last two years. While Iran has its clear issues and its deliberate decentralized government and nature has allowed varying levels of legitimate human rights abuses to happen, it hasn't exactly been on the wrong side of history nor has it ever been the provocateur in any conflict its been involved in since the fall of the Shah.

It’s not so much that I’m pro-Iran, it’s that I’m anti-US. The Trump regime is dangerous and cannot be trusted. I don’t like Iran because it is a Muslim country but I happen to think they’re in the right this time.
