Using lemmy.zip.

I have gone in through my web browser to change my display name, but my name remains the same both in the web browser and on the app when I post.

Am I missing something?

For me, your name is displayed as NSFW_Metal_Head. Is that your intention?

It's showing as Aedaz_ on my .world account. Albeit 20 mins later.

OP: It's almost certainly due to sync delay between servers. I heard someone describe it once as similar to a DNS zone file change - it takes some time to propagate.

Check the network logs. What status code are you getting for the request to change the display name?
