Twitter Migration Report

I appreciate how many people are ignoring the X rebrand entirely and referring to it as Twitter. I doubt that'll ever go away fully.

It was a cringe rebrand entirely because of the narcissistic "this is mine now I scribbled my name on it" antics of its new owner.

Same with fb (not meta) and google (not alphabet).

Facebook is a subsidiary of Meta. Google is a subsidiary of Alphabet. Twitter had an edgy X logo slapped on top of the peeling paint. TheyAreNotTheSame.meme

I'm surprised EM hasn't blocked posts that mention other replacements.

I did not tweet for years but I deleted and went to Firefish, it's a much nicer design than Mastodon and I can just read Mastodon from it. Love the fediverse!

I found their website and it looks neat but I really wish open source projects would stop naming their stuff things that make them impossible to search.

Oh yeah you do have a point. Ok. Well I very much enjoy it, Mastodon looks primitive when compared to Firefish.

I probably don't want to know what post.news is, do I?

Was this for Twitter alternatives? Because I feel like you'd see more mentions of Lemmy than Nostr
