He ran design meetings high on Ketamine. His engineers had to work around his stupid ideas.

The reason why the glass broke on his demo is because car window glass legally needs to be breakable for emergency rescues, but his engineers were too scared to tell him. Same bullshit went on at DOGE and SpaceX. Invest now!

You get my boy Edsel Ford's name out yo mouth. Edsel Ford was one of my favorite historical figures from the 20th century.

From what I understand, it was less of one than the Cybertruck, though. Lots of marketing issues, lots of QA issues, but the only serious design flaw seems to have been the weird transmission setup, whereas the Cybertruck . . . actually, let's not go there.
