Lately, I've been listening to "British jazz" in a broad sense, from the 1920s to the start of WWII, and my favorite track was a recording by this Toronto band.

On a whim, I checked the inventory of record stores in Japan where I live, and lo and behold, I found this record for sale!

I don't have the equipment at home to play records from before the vinyl era (also known as 78rpm), but I still liked the band enough to buy it.

Noice! I own couple shelacs too, but I don't have either a shelac player. I have seen some player sold in antique stores, but I think they will ask an arm and a leg lol.
