Rules

No Sourcing - Do not request sources of any drugs at any time. This includes unregulated research chemicals. Any attempts, including "hit me up in DMs" type of requests, will result in a ban. This rule is necessary to keep this community open.

Harm Reduction - Do not recommend inherently dangerous doses or combinations of substances, or otherwise encourage behavior more risky than drug use already is by default. Clear attempts at causing intentional harm will result in a ban.

Avoid Dangerous Recommendations - Avoid recommending substances that have a reasonable chance of causing considerable harm to the user. For example, DPH, inhalants, or opioids. This rule is necessary to conform with Lemmy.World's Terms of Service. Posts violating this rule will be removed.

Since I can't seem to post on the drug gardening community I'll drop this here. Really digging the petal shapes on this one.

Bonus trichocereus bridgesii in the background.

Poppies make such elaborate flowers. They're right up there with passionfruit.

I love passionfruit flowers, got a passiflora vine indoors which flowers occasionally. Haven't yet tried making any kind of tea although I know people say it's supposed to be calming

I thought opium poppies were pink & purple coloured?

The somniferum variety comes in many different colours, I believe typically the pink and purple varieties are well known to be potent. Some others are not so potent.
