Looks like the Senate bill has gotten better. There is some good and some bad. They're cutting back on home grow and max potency for extracts. They're expunging all convictions on possession of 2.5oz or less, and I think most importantly, allowing people to buy from medical dispensaries for recreational use. Right now, it's legal to possess, but illegal to sell. This should fix that loophole.

Not fucking good enough. They’re acting like we didn’t begrudgingly vote on something with too little home grow. Also why the fuck do cops get anything out of this? A big payout as a reward for fighting us every step of the way until we legalized marijuana against their wishes? No if they wanted a payout in this they should’ve tried to slip it into the law. Hell we wanted marijuana so much we might’ve let them.

Cops get anything out of this because the people in the gerrymandered legislature loves to throw money at them.

Yeah well I called my representative and Senator over it. We fucking voted on this.

It's actually kind of fucking awful if you like carts or oil.

THC levels would stay the same at 35% for plant material and reduce it from 90% to 50% for extracts.

Ugh, well, at least they didn't completely ban home grow

I guess we'll see what the House does with it. They seemed much less interested in modifying what has already been passed by the voters.

Eh. I have no opinion on this change.

Higher tax rate has an obvious benefit. Except that more is going to county jail construction?

Not sure what they plan to accomplish changing the amount that people can grow. People have been hiding growing pot for years. I guess this is a way to make sure people keep hiding it

Ok so I don't like the degree to which they are trying to control it, but I haven't been able to smoke weed in years because everyone to buy from has made it so crazy strong I have to plan to sleep for hours after
