They’re turning it into a magazine - wonder when they’ll add personalisation algo

I like the idea they think they can make an everything app when as a text app it’s so utterly broken

Oof, felt this right in the geriatric millennials.

Mfer I was doing assignments where I had to scroll through index cards to find the encyclopaedia, then hand write out the essay.

It’s weird when you go from being the disruptor demographic to realising that when your 5 yo kid jokes about the 80s it’s as far away in time to him as the 1940s we’re to me - for him it’s a 2d, pre-Alexa, analog dystopia.

And I’m only 42.

I think there are times when your values dictate your opinion rather than the facts.

There’s a reason logic isn’t what sells cars, skin care and fashion.

We’re emotional creatures.

A strong opposition should help reign in excesses of either side, and we should crave it.

There are ideas that originate on the right and are embraced in the left - universal basic income comes to mind.

I’m sorry you feel that way, but I get where you’re coming from.

Zoom out a little though and it’s consequences are war, famine, and desecration.

If not the human suffering, consider eons long chains of biology that’ll be wiped off the face of the earth as climates shift quicker than their ability to adapt

I wonder if the internet, possibly the worlds best accomplishment in cooperation, can survive a post-globalist world?

Perhaps it’s the purist expression of the wave in optimism for liberalised trade before it crested and rolled back out to sea.

We really just sleepwalking into a Cyberpunk dystopia huh?

Saw it on TikTok that when a camera and WiFi are active, and then the camera removed, AI can visualise people in the room

I have enough trouble finding all the bicycles in the photos, they wouldn’t need to change much
