[When being asked if she would be riding one of the new rides at her park ~10 yrs ago] "Oh goodness no, if I got on there parts of me would start flyin' off!"

She's plenty light natured about it.

They are usually responsible for planning, generating, and running regular project team meetings. So they get people together but sometimes have done no work since the last meeting they held, so when someone has a reasonable issue that doesn't meet with the pre done schedule 5 years ago when the project was first instigated, they have super Pikachu face and get mad at the actual doers because they don't get to just report "on schedule" to their bosses. They could be called the landlords ofthe project based on the sentiment of the greater Lemmy community.

Watering down the remaining 7-in-1 shower product because they can't afford to replenish supplies because the price of everything is too damn high.

Clock app, make a 30 minute timer, reset when it goes off. Why do you need a whole app for that?

Looking to build my first server out, trying to figure out if there is a "better" platform for my needs. Right now I'm just planning a mix of machines and containers in Proxmox for running a NAS and Plex server, router of some sort (also, any preferences on wireless access points?), a pihole if that's not just as easily done in whatever router OS I decide on, VPN, and 3-5 various machines/containers going in and out of service as I find what my needs else I want to play with and host continuously..

Basically just looking for bang for the buck CPU/chipsets people are getting for this use case. Any advantages of AMD vs Intel in mid-consumer level options? Is getting something similar with more efficiency cores worth worrying about in a hypervisor use case?

About the possible complaining: I would say this is the perfect amount of detail/suggestion that can appeal just about everyone. You want to feel cute by wearing a short pleated skirt? Win! Care to view someone in a short pleated skirt? Also a win! Don't care to wear or view someone in a short pleated skirt? You are entitled to that opinion but probably not an active member of the community, or appreciate some peoples' desire to do one or both of these things. You win as well, And good will to all of the above.

So flammable mater + low airflow is somehow more fire resistant than flame resistant mater + low airflow? Looks like the source is pure marketing unless their comparable insulation is perforated cardboard coated in fuel gel.

Cider can be made from all kinds of good fruits (maybe things other than fruits can count as cider, I'm cideroligist)

My favorite thing for these parking lot issues is just folding the passenger mirror in. Non destructive, annoying, and the owner almost never notices until they have at least gotten in the vehicle, if not already moving, and have to stop, get out, fix the mirror, and start the whole "go" processes over.

So what was the ratio of "eliminate" to "clean up"? Looks like a lot less plugged in than in the before.

The kerning in "B ut" is the thing actually keeping me up at night.

Ikki68 Camp and Megalodon DOIO Macropad with lubed Banana Milk switches. I'm not a lefty but support moving numpads and nav clusters away from the mouse. Took about 2 weeks to get used to it, and I keep a numpads layer in the Ikki for when I take it away from my main setup.

Many roguelites could fall into this category, and are generally cheap to boot (i.e. vampire survivors).
