They allowed for the inclusion of DRM into HTML5. This DRM is not open-source, can't even be source audited and refused to back down. Such a move caused the EFF (electronic frontier foundation) to resign from the group. Here's the EFF's letter where they outline these issues if you want to give it a read: https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2017/09/open-letter-w3c-director-ceo-team-and-membership

I could also write about them bowing to Google but the DRM thing annoys me more.

And then Tim Berners-Lee has the audacity to complain about the state of the internet. Something his group could've actually stopped or slowed.

These genius also wants to block Tutanota too. What a joke. Never heard of this project and I will now go back to not hearing them.

This is far from the first horrible thing I've heard Plex do. Why are they like this?

I still find it hilarious that Tuberville has effectively become one of the best anti-military politicians, even if his reasons for doing so are completely unexpected.

Well yeah. With how easy it is to find porm why go to movies and tv to see it?

Slay the Spire in their statement specifically said theyre looking into other engines. I meant that if said games were ported the audiences would follow.

They didn't say it but I'd assume for Spire they're looking at Godot.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see developers make tools to more easily port over games to Godot from Unity.

Damn shame the railworker strike didn't happen round this time. They would've stood a better chance.

Can't believe this is actually a reality now.

If you're familiar with CTH and the dirtbag left, Hexbear is where they went after being banned by Reddit.

For what it is when lemm.ee considered de-federated from them they flooded the instance turning a 200 comment thread into 1200. And lots of harassment. Edit: In case you wanted to read that clusterbomb of a thread: https://lemm.ee/post/4543536

It's a damn shame. May he rest in peace.

When it comes to android apps I always look for open source stuff first. Literally just save the headache of dealing with bot-reviews, ads in app, etc.
