Half of those budgets is marketing

Developers have been underpaid for years. These increases are not going to them.

It sounds more like he wants to be on the cutting edge developing stuff that hasn't been done before, due to technical limitations. Not specifically fixing things wrong in a company because their other employees were too dumb.

The oil industry bribes are too loud for them to hear your complaints, peasant.

Yes, I'm sure people love playing the game they already owned and loved the first time. My issue is their idiotic willingness to keep shelling out money for something they've already played, Incentivizing the industry to NOT MAKE NEW GAMES.

It's not curmudgeonly to hate the fact that AAA games have been in this remake rut for years now with fuck all interesting games coming out. Indie is the only space with anything Interesting at all happening.

There's a limited number of developers and development funds for games in the world. Allocating ANY to this remaster/reboot/rerelease bullshit that is PLAUGING the industry right now, means fewer new games are being made.

And my Google feed will often serve those up to me, too. I keep getting caught by that Vader one before I realize it.

Are you under the impression that sales jobs don't exist?

I have a buddy who works as a sales person selling packaging material to large companies. They're probably in the field more than cold calling customers like the show did, but still. These jobs do exist.
