I don’t know if this is relevant, but I deal a lot with MS support in my role at work. There is some built in AI that you need to go through in order to open a support case, and it’s about 85% useless, and also has a caveat at the end that says “AI provided information may be incorrect”. However, there are cases where it’s useful, and I don’t have to deal with a human who copies and pastes a novel in their email to tell me they’re working on it.

Ive had cancellations processed after product upgrades and it went through in less than a day, and I didn’t have to read 5 paragraphs of bullshit canned script from a human. So it’s not all bad, I guess.

That’s the extent to which I use AI for work. I can’t imagine another use case where I wouldn’t have to double check everything, and if I have to do that, I may as well just do it myeself.

I wish my Irish relatives would throw me a lifeline. I’d leave a vapor trail behind me on my way out of here.

JD Vance meme

No, that’s just how he looks.

I find this funny because this

My main concern is that this tech is not 100% accurate. I feel like it shouldn’t be used on its own.

Is generally the least of their concerns.

Yeah but we’re burying the lede here:

However deputy mayor Ashley Orwin, who is gay, said the complaint and the flag's removal had supercharged support for the town's first Pride event, which is taking place in June next year.

So really, the Streisand effect has teeth, and it’s beautiful to see.

Democrats over here making sure they never get elected again. Chuck Schumer et al have been cucked.

What the fuck is an average guy like me even voting for, If we even get to vote again? The democratic party is dead, there’s literally nothing they offer their voting base. All I want is for rich people to pay fucking taxes and for normal people to have their basic living necessities met, but apparently that’s just a bridge too far. So fuck you Chuck and Hakeem, all I want is for my tax dollars to help American families, but you cocksuckers insist on spending it turning Palestinian children to dust.

I don’t have the answer to stop this from happening, but I’ll certainly be there when someone else figures it out.

Teams is dogshit. Every time they push an upgrade, it makes my job selling it so much more difficult.

Godspeed Germany, I hope you find a better solution shortly. It can’t be that difficult.

Knowing the absolute cabbages walking around that place, it’s probably a WiFi pineapple that will accept any password and is just intercepting all of the traffic.

This isn’t Hanlon’s razor here. They know exactly what they’re doing, and they’ve absolutely thought this through. While 47 might be a petulant manchild, the people he’s surrounded himself with are as dangerous as anyone.

Care to elaborate on that? Or are you just leaving us with that pearl of wisdom?

So currently I’m running a 5800x and a regular 2060. I’ve got a 650w gold PSU that’s about 4 years old, no problems with it at all. I’m thinking about upgrading to a RX 7800 XT because GeForce prices are perpetually absurd. It seems like it would be enough power, but the few things I’ve read say that I need at least a 750w if I go with the AMD (because they’re power hungry?), but 650w would be fine for a 4070ti. If I have to buy a new PSU, I feel like it would wipe out any savings I might get by buying AMD over Nvidia. How can I definitively know if I need more power?

Full disclosure, I understand the concept of undervolting, but I’m not nearly confident enough to mess with the settings.
