Saved you a click: she thought $1.2 billion per year over 10 years totaled more than $1trillion.

Sure, an argument like that could be made. I guess…

DHS said that in addition to barring enrollment of future international students, "existing foreign students must transfer to lose their legal status." The revocation, which DHS said was the result of "pro-terrorist conduct," was first reported by The New York Times.

What does it mean that they “must transfer to lose”? Is she saying if they transfer they lose their status and that that transfer is being forced, or that they must transfer or lose it?

Can someone explain how this wouldn’t violate the first amendment? I don’t understand the reasoning behind it.

[–] CM400@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

What is the justification?

What a waste of taxpayer dollars. If only there were a department for government efficiency that could fire everyone involved.

I liked season 2, though I admit it could have been better.

I need more details. Was he posed that his truck broke down? Was it the voting? Was the paraphernalia supposed to be incriminating for the voters or was it just that he got so mad he smashed his pipe or whatever?

This is pretty cool! The research team was looking for (and found) several cannabinoids that are toxic to neuroblastoma, and isolated this new one (which happens to not be toxic to that cancer).

There is a charity event running for the month of April, and I’ve signed up our community to participate.

Details here.

The gist of it is to comment !LemmySilver under posts or comments you think deserve attention, and at the end of the month, the users with the most awards will have money donated to a charity in their name.

Let’s spread some positivity in this c/, and good luck!

Just curious.
