this isn't even about 'letting others talk'. it's just nice to have moments where folk can simply be in each other's company and not be required to converse

Ive been considering getting one of these honestly. as an introvert there are just some days where I really don't want to talk to people but retail doesn't care about that and I need money. at least having some kind of gague seems better than just glowering and hoping i don't have to deal with small talk

more like eating more processed food. and I mean like 'gone through a cooking process' kind of way. We do a lot more now than just burn our meat and eat veggies raw to get nutrients. we simply just don't need to work our jaws so hard to get what we need

if only my wisdom teeth got the memo :+:

oo I have an answer of sorts! Humans are endurance predators, not ambush ones. We're meant to be moving often for hunts, standing still for long periods of time isn't what our body's good at.

I feel like a lot of modern society does whatever it can to ignore the fact that we're animals too

My favorite thing I learned while researching for writing was that hunter-gatherers worked less hours than the modern human 🙃

iirc the article stated 'work' as when they hunted, not for stuff like cooking and crafting

front and messy back. i went to a craftstore with my mom a couple months ago and bought a kit on a whim. found out I really like the process of cross stitching! I definitely made some mistakes for sure but I've already ordered materials for my next project :3c So far I'm not a huge fan of back stitching but I can see the promise in it.

I want to get better at consuming water and I think my biggest downfall is water quality currently. The water where I live is very hard (and constantly getting polluted thanks 3M) and while I can usually trust what we do at home, there's no way I can trust my work to properly filter the water they provide us. I remember using a filtered water bottle back in high school but I lost that at some point. While I've done some research into what's available results were inconclusive. Any homies got any recommendations for me?

temtem screwed up by adding micro transactions. and a paid battle pass. like, I've already bought the game and now you want me to spend more money like it's a f2p piece of junk?

cats are carnivores. no diet will ever change that. feed your cats meat.

It's called The Bride of Barbaroi for those wondering. Unless I misunderstood the translation it gets revealed that the main love interests are aunt and nephew.
