It's suffocating to be in a middle management position because you get squeezed by the higher-ups and your own team. I think people are treating this with too much hype. It feels like I'm on Reddit. I know it's incredibly easy to react sensationally, and I don't blame anyone for doing so, but a little levelheadedness would have been better. More "Huh, there are issues" instead of "Holy crap Linus just got destroyed".
