Idk why you personally are here, but many migrants (myself included) did NOT leave reddit because we dislike reddit's content; we left because the site is controlled an unaccountable Elon/Zuck wannabe whose every decision the last decade has made the site worse. Sci-fi and fantasy are genres that naturally bleed into one another, and everyone will draw the lines differently. I'd personally agree that Star Wars is more fantasy than sci-fi, but I wouldn't want to gatekeep anyone who called it their favorite sci-fi franchise.

Eh, it's one of the most popular anime of the season and is almost universally acclaimed, I wouldn't call that "underrated." Wouldn't mind it being AoT-level popular so I could talk about it with normie non-anime-fan friends, I suppose, but that's a big ask for a (supposed) idol series.

It's funny that such a huge proportion of anime are set in high school, yet so few of them have characters that actually feel like teenagers. This is one of those shows that actually manages it, which makes it equal parts charming and melancholic.
