Yes this thinking really underestimates the cost of driving and devalues your time.

And as you mentioned, long commutes are uniquely unhealthy.

You go too far!

No, I had it right the first time.

The "3 dots" menu is sometimes referred to as a "kebab menu" if the dots are vertical and a "meatballs menu" if the dots are horizontal. I think it's weird, but I have heard it used in instructional videos before.

Yes, this is probably my single biggest one. Particularly:

opt out of those you’re done with (say your post/comment got popular and you’ve had your fill from the replies).

Of course they are. No lives matter when there is money to be made. The pursuit of profit overrides all other principles.

Maybe they could make .io into a 3-character gTLD by adding a character to it. Moving all of the websites (except those actually relevant to the territory) over to a new gTLD in unison seems like it would reduce confusion for the people who use those sites. Knowing that acme.io is now acme.iox (or w/e) would make it easier on everyone.

We (rightfully) condemn other nations like Russia and China when they do shit like this. Where is the outrage from western politicians here?

What does it mean when a "democracy" supports genocide?

[-] EndlessNightmare@reddthat.com 6 points 23 hours ago

I believe so, and that is a really bold thing for them to publish regardless of one's opinion on the situation.

everyone just migrating everything to a new TLD?

That's what I'm suggesting. Make a new gTLD (3 character) for the defunct ccTLD to migrate.

The loss of visual field is probably the greater concern.

I'm not saying that you can't drive with one eye, but it is definitely an impairment and makes the job tougher.
