Removing DRM from a legally obtained copy is not illegal in itself.

It is technically not illegal to remove the DRM, if the purpose is just to read it and the DRM is not compatible with my reading device. I just still have to honour the lending agreement I made with my local library.

Enforcing that you need a business licence to buy a VPN is easy and requires very little. They suddenly can't sell you a subscription if you can't provide the business licence.

I haven't encountered a captive portal at all. I can use the internet just fine without VPN.

People contemplating moving to graphene, do be aware that banking etc. absolutely can be a major PITA on graphene as well. Several official apps used where i live cannot work in graphene, even with sandboxed play services installed, making day-to-day life functionally impossible with graphene. Luckily reverting to stock android is easy, although I probably wouldn't have bought a pixel phone if I was planning on using stock OS.

I'm not sure if qbit has a setting for it, but what I've done is that I have multiple instances/docker containers of qbit. One is specifically for ratio requiring torrents where I don't have a bandwidth limit on upload and have a higher limit of active seeding torrents that the other instance.

I have plenty excess shivs already, I'm trying not to and up a hoarder.

I only use pretty basic modelling, and have no interest in advanced CAD featueres, I've tried both the link branch and ondsel, and I honesty think they're about the same level as regular freecad. None of them are even near as intuitive to use as for example onshape, they're actually a bit of a chore to use IME.

If someone inadvertently did this because they recently started transcoding their media library (...that would be me...), and didn't think about the seeding torrents, can you do anything to mitigate such bans?
