And for those that have no idea who we're talking about:

The article doesn't explicitly state it but it's obvious from that fence and the nails through the hands that this was a literal crucifixion. Which sounds like something that should be said out loud instead of dodged.

Every day we get a step closer to the Bell Riots.

A friend and I have tickets booked to be in San Francisco the first week of September. We don't know what we will do there but we will be there to support Gabriel Bell.

If I needed a message system that I knew would make messages unavailable after a few years because it was shut down by a company that never supports side projects this would be a valuable service.

"hello, I'd like to get half a ton of dry ice delivered. No, we don't have a working ventilation system, why do you ask?"

Guys aren't that picky about size. We are picky about picking women that will pick us back. Size is very low on the priority list. I'm 6'2". Only one girlfriend was taller than 5'4". They all chose me.

This has and presents problems.

The good news: it is using data from the Nurses Study. That's hard data to beat because it's got a great collection method going back years and years.

Bad news: it's only covering four years. Bad news: it defines ultra processed foods as, among other things. having lots of calories. But spends a whole lot of time blaming drinks with artificial sweeteners. The one thing artificial sweeteners aren't is calorie dense.

Either way it will give us something to argue about for a few years.

Skip electricity. That doesn't matter until you can make reliable turbines with copper and magnets. Go to steam power first. It can move things. Which will speed up delivery of copper and magnets. But also teach them to plant trees. Every tree removed to smelt and power a steam engine needs to have three more planted. You could start greening the Sahara before umit even starts collapsing. "he sure had this steam thing figured out. I guess we will forgive him for all these useless trees".
