I'm pretty stressed out about the situation I'm in. It's a long story but I'll try to sum it up. I'm more or less working 2 full time jobs right now along with all the stuff that comes with being a home owner and partner to another person.

One job is "normal". And boring, so I hate every second of it. Other job is my dream but isn't currently paying the bills very well. It could, if I could quit the first job and focused on only the second but money won't ramp up immediately.

I'm not making enough between the two jobs to build up a buffer. Quitting the first job is the best path but it will also come with upsetting my partner for a period of time until the second job ramps up.

I'm so annoyed about how expensive it is to live. None of us signed up for this!

Looks like my 12 year old MX518 looked like when I retired it for a G400s.

I met my fiancee on Hinge and Tinder. We matched on both at the same time. Hinge is probably the better one if you're looking for something serious but play the field, whatever your attention span will allow for.

Bumble is also a decent one. It has, or at least used to have? I've not used it in almost 2 years, a "unique" feature where the woman messages first. Though that usually just ends up being a "Hi" or something even less conversation-starting.

Really depends on what you're looking for, I guess.

This is exactly me. I spend most of my workday on my phone, doom scrolling. There might be an hour of actual work to do on a given day. It's driving me insane and my neck is really starting to bother me from staring at my phone all day. I'm in the interviewing process for something different, so there's a light at the end of the tunnel but it's still pretty dark in here.

As a long time Unity user, thanks for your hard work. It's appreciated more than you could ever know.

The differences in thermal paste brands is pretty minimal. It does dry out over time. What I think is more likely is that your fan's air ducts have become clogged with hair and dust. That's probably the biggest issue with your cooling.

Yes, in the long term you are saving money but if you have 20 bucks but not 100, what vape are you buying? That's the point I'm making.

The fourth half is pretty easy though.

Oh man, I wish I still lived in Murfreesboro. I'm straight as could be but you better believe I'd find a buddy to kiss and hug in public just to piss off those backwards fuckwits.

I'm like 90% YouTube, 2% Lemmy and 8% just googling random stuff. Celebrity facts, historical events, programming problems, stuff I want to buy. YouTube is king though. Kinda hate that I waste so much time on it.

Not always but in a lot of instances, when cats do that "but I can see the bottom!" thing, it's because the bowl may be too small and their whiskers hit the sides and they don't like it. Some cats are just assholes though lol
