Modeled in FreeCAD and Blender, and printed on my Anycubic Photon Mono

I would piggyback on the people saying to get a PC, and think about building a home theater PC. You can use steam big picture mode to make it act like a console, but you can also use it for other things. You can even use steam's streaming capabilities to stream to other devices on your network like your phone or laptop if you want to be elsewhere.

this looks pretty neat, definitely adding to my wishlist.

Really cool idea, hoping to see updates on the project as it goes!

Did anyone else ever play Airfix Dogfighter? You got to fly model planes all through a house and break glass and stuff. Super fun times 😁

Yeah, it wasn't until my second time starting the game that I took in any of the combat tutorials

What would you add to this playlist?

As the title says, I'm getting pretty overwhelmed by a growing list of tasks I have to do. Laundry is piling up, I still need to unpack my car from a roadtrip last weekend, and an issue I've been working at work has been dragging on for too long.

What are your techniques for resetting and getting through tasks that have been sitting around for too long?

For me after some time away from PC gaming, getting a steam deck was one thing that got me back into it. The other thing though was definitely selecting relatively short games. I played a lot of open-ended games that I could never finish like rimworld or crusader kings, it was nice to get back into games with a beginning middle and end. And in the same vein it means I've been playing stuff that I was interested in playing back in the 2010s but didn't really have the time/money/hardware for

Do you think that a significant number of people who would benefit from some amount of student loan forgiveness are in this situation? Do you believe that it would be good to do nothing so that some undeserving people aren't helped as well?

If there were a progressive candidate in the general election I would've voted for them 🤷 Believe me I didn't vote for Biden with much hope for anything changing for the better in the country.

So far this summer I've gone to Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Hersheypark and Disney World, which has brought my count up to 85. New ones for this season were:

  • i305
  • Twisted Timbers
  • Reptilian (formerly avalanche)
  • Grizzly
  • Anaconda
  • Pantheon
  • DarKoaster
  • Wildcat's Revenge
  • Tron Lightcycle Run
  • Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
  • Space Mountain (Alpha track)

For immersive rides, while I really loved Cosmic Rewind and Tron (though it was just OK during the day, the night ride makes it 10x better) neither beat out Hagrid's for me.

For conventional coasters, I was glad that i305 lived up to the hype, the camelbacks on Twisted Timbers were nuts, and Wildcat's revenge was completely awesome in every row I tried.

Pantheon was an excellent ride, but pretty shaky operations really made the experience unpleasant. With two trains it was constantly stacking or loading full trains from quick queue, and most of the time it was running a single train.

DarKoaster was mid.

Feels like something my wife and I signed up for ages ago and haven't seen a penny. Not that I find it at all surprising, but it feels like it got pretty close to actually happening...

If you aren't from the US, how was your higher education experience?

I find things like this annoying and literally no one I know seems to notice them at all. I went to see across the spider verse in "IMAX" with some friends and could literally see the pixels of the projector. Great movie, but if I'm going to see a movie in IMAX I shouldn't be having issues with the resolution.

Katamari is just such a gem of a game. Totally novel concept, amazing presentation, lots of replayability. Really hard to follow up on that

We love our rabbits, Chester (brown) is very laid back, and Phoebe (REW) is more feisty. She likes to pretend that she's tough by grunting at everything and everyone, but she melts for pets

This video was a total rollercoaster ride. I started watching expecting the usual youtube cringe commentary, but wound up with a pretty compelling story of a guy who just really enjoys making art, and his family who supports him

Where is Phantom Hourglass? I loved that game!

I spun up an instance on my personal server to host a podcast that my wife and her friend started, and it's been working great! Has a few rough edges, but it does everything one needs to inexpensively get a podcast out onto the internet without relying on a non-free hosting platform. Feel free to check out my wife's podcast at https://podcast.tworooms.online as an example.
