Mid-2015 MBP with an i5 and 8 GB RAM checking in, I have loved this poor machine to death and use it daily for coding and hobby game dev, but it is finally time to upgrade. I’m planning on getting a very spec’d out 16 inch of whatever comes out in the fall.

Work got me a 16 inch with an M4 Pro and I love it so much.

Yup, or the walls in The Library anniversary graphics that you could walk through, so bad

Well regardless of what HS is working on, we know it’s going to be in Unreal Engine, a CE remake would have to be built from the ground up because it wouldn’t be just revamping the original CE in the Blam engine like CEA.

The most common rumor has been a complete remake of Combat Evolved in Unreal, Nov 2026 would be the 25th anniversary if you want to speculate a release date.

Also:

Xbox head Phil Spencer also promised that, in 2026, “players will get to celebrate 25 years of Xbox with a new Fable, the next Forza, Gears of War: E-Day, and the return of a classic that’s been with us since the beginning.”

Presumably that classic is Halo.

Over the past few weeks, there’s been a fair amount of speculation about when and where more details might emerge about any of the multiple projects Halo Studios is actively working on. We don’t usually comment on such matters, but this time we want to enter the chat and share a little more perspective for Halo fans who might be on the fence about whether to attend this year’s event.

Last year at HaloWC, we premiered “A New Dawn” where we talked about the switch to Unreal Engine, gave you a behind the scenes look at Project Foundry, and debuted our evolution to Halo Studios as we enter a new chapter for Halo. For us, “A New Dawn” was just the beginning - at this year’s HaloWC, we look forward to continuing the conversation.

Speculation is always fun, but if you want the official scoop on what Halo Studios has been working on, you won’t want to miss this year’s Halo World Championship. We really hope you’ll join us in Seattle this October!

Flying devastators as well. What’s next, flying striders?

My first thought is actually getting the corrosive substance onto enough of the concrete would be difficult, assuming they aren’t able to penetrate the concrete then they have to rely on it seeping from the ground, or if they can penetrate then the substance is only really going to be in the chamber where the buster detonated.

I have zero experience with ordnance or busting bunkers though so that’s just a shot in the dark

Just being able to destroy their cannons is huge, but it will be nice to not be in a constant ragdoll state

Not sure why the cannons weren’t destroy able to begin with, every other cannon in the game can be destroyed, and shooting at them was probably one of the first things divers did when they saw leviathans

For those affected specifically by Covered California, although I wouldn’t be surprised to see suits for other states pop up

A proposed class action, the lawsuit seeks to represent everyone who had information transmitted to the tech companies by Covered California

COMMEMORATIVE CAPE ISSUED

A cape has been issued commemorating the defense of Super Earth from hostile, evil, and threateningly unknowable alien forces. This cape represents the boundless gratitude of all citizens for the Helldivers' selfless and innumerable sacrifices.

For those that fought valiantly on Super Earth between May 13th and June 2nd.

According to SteamDB, the last two patches lifted the region lock for all but seven countries:

MAJOR ORDER: The remnant Illuminate forces have evaded Justice. Some of their remote bases endure. The unprovoked Illuminate assault on Super Earth will never be forgotten. Justice for the Illuminate atrocities has not been averted—merely postponed, for a greater and more immediate threat has emerged in the Galactic War: Massive Terminid outbreaks erupted simultaneously across multiple Super Earth cities.

This unprecedented assault of Fascism into highly-populated areas puts millions of citizens in grave danger. The Helldivers must respond immediately. Repel the Terminid invasion from our cities.
