Genu tax is recommended. Same as Studiotax. I can't install the software.. on my MacBook. It's for window.

I still have funds in WS and can't close all of my accounts right now. The stocks aren't well. I'm considering keeping them until mid-2027. I really liked Simple Tax, but the original team now runs Better Tax. I'm not using the service anymore. StudioTax offers maximum privacy and can save files locally. Wealthsimple tax is cloud. Studiotax is local save.

It is really sad. I used persona for 2FA reset. When I asked them if my info was safe, they only apologized but didn't answer my question. I am curious if they already knew persona was not secure.

The personal company isn't very safe. I knew it can be problematic one day. I was right. The leak exposed approximately 1 billion records of personal data from 26 countries including Canada.

  • Full names
  • Addresses
  • Dates of birth
  • National IDs
  • Phone numbers
  • Email addresses

The data was left unsecured. I'm very disappointed in WS security and privacy policy.

Thank you very much for the useful info!! I hope graphene team will unveil its first smart phone with GrapheneOS this year! If that can happen' I'll happily ditch my pixel phone. Also, I won't give a single permission to gain any dat from me from Monday. I'm going to full degoogle. I use an iPhone now but I know their privacy is slightly better than stock android and bad than graphene OS for privacy.

I have a question. Is Lemmy app available on Obtainium but not on Fdroid?

[–] Goldenring@lemmy.ca 3 points 3 hours ago

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I agree that Rumble isn’t the best option. I haven't been there for years and I didn't know the website was so bad. For alternatives, thank you for recommending NewPipe or GrayJay for a more privacy-focused platform. I'll try them this Monday after installing graphene OS! I can't wait for my full control. Also I'll support Fdroid developers!

I'll look up grayjay!

But they are scheduling my work time on the app. I didn't want. They forced me to install the app.

I thought Rumble was going to be an alternative platform. After visiting there, my mind changed. I'll stay away from them. So, I have pipe pipe and peertube to install 😆

Thank you! I noted it! 😆

Oh, yeah. I noticed the comments are wild.

I have WhatsApp for work now. I asked my boss to re-invite me to the chat this Monday.

I'm watching the tutorial now. Is Rumble an alternative to YouTube?

Hi everyone. I'm making my first post to Lemmy now. I bought a Pixel 9A last month and have been on stock android.

I should have installed GrapheneOS without setting up a Google account, but I'm still not familiar with Linux or other systems, even though I know GrapheneOS is based on the Android system. I've been using an iPhone for almost 12 years now. I know how to protect my data/privacy from massive surveillance.

Now I now want to take full control of my pixel phone without Google Play store/service.

My concern is lack of phone screening feature on Graphene OS but I don't want to have any Google service on Graphene OS. How do you deal without it?

Thank you for your response in advance
