I personally like Bees.
I've been meaning to upgrade but GPUs are stupid expensive where I live if you want something decent.
Cries in GTX 1060
Factorio works well (at a smaller scale).
If we could end up with a theme that looks a lot more like https://kbin.social, I'd be so happy. My biggest gripe with Lemmy is all of the white space, and none of the current themes improve that at all. All of the theme options offered by kbin look amazing by comparison, and to my understanding Lemmy theming is done via CSS based on Bootstrap v4, so new theme creation should be straightforward enough.
It's to the point where, when visiting Lemmy instances, I use a custom CSS extension to modify a few properties to make it a bit more palatable to me.
If you guys ever need help creating custom themes to offfer to users I'd be happy to contribute.
Dude is super bitter.
I kinda feel the same way. I've used the official Reddit app before, and I might've considered using a modded version of the official client, but I just feel gross even having a Reddit account after what they've done. Despite the fact that I use old.reddit as well, once Apollo is gone I reckon I'll delete my account.
That website loads painfully slowly. Got impatient after a minute of loading and closed the tab.
Factorio all the way. Get bored of finishing the game, or crafting the perfect megabases? Prepare for mods that can take 1000s of hours to finish. Perfection.
As always, the factory must grow.
Agreed. They've just made the most tone-deaf update in /r/modnews as well that goes on to address zero concerns users have, while sending canned responses with zero actual useful information to the few comments they have replied to.
It's really sad to see Reddit in this state, as a long time user.
Same here! I really hope Lemmy starts catching on or Reddit will never listen to its users as currently there's no real Reddit competitor (aside from Lemmy, of course)
Don’t think Beehaw has updated to Lemmy 0.18 yet.
