A much more honorable choice than what the article is talking about. It's essentially SEO for AI or AEO as they're calling it. I'm kinda surprised this wasn't happening or reported sooner.

There is actually some science behind this. People's perception of time literally speeds up as they age. Our youth feels like forever, our young adult years still feel long and at that point it all feels like it will be forever, and then you blink and you're 56 wondering where the time went. It's a really well known phenomenon.
Very famously aloof or otherwise chill creatures.
It seems most air travel is avoiding the Persian gulf right now. I often fly through the UAE and most routes are now going through Ethiopia or direct to Europe and then onward.
Funny enough, that line can also be interpreted as "thou shalt not murder" which really changes the meaning. I prefer the standard translation though as a pacifist.
Well now we know which side of the force OP is on.
What the flock. It is interesting how we are doing both 1984 and fahrenheit 451 simultaneously. Honestly though AI development at any serious scale requires nation state level efforts and nearly any government would be tempted. It's unfortunate the US has had more of a shift towards palpatine and the empire as of late.
I thought creating echo chambers and dopamine loops was the whole point. Kinda reminds me of this CGP Grey video
Lol to anyone who knows what the image is from.
I'm a bit shocked this wasn't happening sooner. We've more so seen people salting the fields so to speak to get back at AI / data collection companies. Makes sense corporate types would do the same to push their products or services. That said doing it to advertise their brand of hormone replacement therapy is a tad disturbing, seems like something important enough that one wouldn't want their information manipulated when researching. Same to anything medical really.
