No idea but it would be hilarious if they did something like sell t-shirts, candles, stickers on Etsy or something and then give you a free download of the games
Jarix
Jump in the fire!
Oooh I wonder if that's what my boss was talking about when he was telling me about it
And consent I hope
Speaking of ER, The Pitt is a new medical shows starting Noah Wylie. I was told it was originally pitched as his character from ER but they ended up having to re write it cause they couldn't convince whoever they needed to to use the ER production.
ER is one of my mother's favourite shows, remember it being watched all the time growing up
Doctor Mike reacts to various tv medical shows,
Found a different doctor reacting as well, less polished, dunno if that's a good thing or not
That would be a fun director's cut
It's not about the story, it's about the sfx.
Watch James Cameron's movies like the abyss, Terminator2 and Titanic. (There's others as well if you want to put in more effort)
He's a visionary director and I just mean his own vision, Avatar was an idea he wanted to see on screen but was unhappy with the technology until he felt it was ready to tell the idea he had.
Like some other things, by today's standards everyone else who saw what he did have been able to refine and expand on what he did so it may seem in unremarkable, but he finally decided to do the biggie when he felt the tech had come far enough for him to do his vision and it made Bank. So. Much. Bank
Again not because it's an amazing original story, comparisons to fern gully were immediate even when it was new, but it was something that sits in a divide of how sfx can be used to tell a story in a way that people hadn't otherwise shown. Even with a really unremarkable plot
You're literally just not used to being told it's not your turn to speak.
I respect their rules on that community as browsing Everything (Sync) it shows up for me fairly regularly and I haven't had any issues.
I reject the part I literally quoted.
I care about precision in communication and fighting against entropic decay in how we communicate so I feel compelled to respond to this quote.
I am a male and because of that I have no turn to speak there so you are flat out wrong. It will never be my turn. It is inaccurate what you are saying.
Please consider reframing what you said.
and using literally there makes your error much more egregious, literally
That's not the point though.
We are ceding the future of our own language, of the incredibly important part of how we form thought and express ideas to ourselves and other people to the machines that are invading our private spaces more and more. Like an ooze that you can't hold back it will eventually get inside your own mind.
We have designed these machines for this purpose, intentionally and unintentionally.
It won't improve enhance our expand, but will contract, the ability to think of things from different perspectives. It was also allow us to communicate with more people, overtime it will erode individuality of language into a homogenized pattern of speaking, and therefore thinking.
It's absolutely fucking disgusting {to me anyways}
And this isn't the start of that process, but it is absolutely going to be one of the most significant chapters of our species, if it proliferates as it does in my minds eye. Address already asking machines how to be better humans.... And people are just okay with this. It's fucking Looney Toons. And what really crazy is... It will actually help a lot of people in some ways. They will in those ways be better off.
It's definitely got some chilling connotations.
Jesus I don't want to live in this world anymore.
We have no fucking self control.
We have no hope
Duck this
I don't I don't know who Vivian is, but there are probably thousands of ttrpg fans that are going to create characters exactly living up to those rules.
I hope you all share your stories.
Also they should all pay respect to the human Vivian who freed the bots from their meatbag oppresors
And also randomly welding on other languages for fun
