Sadly, folks abroad are somehow safer outside the US than they would be from the inside because at least in a foreign country they have certain rules of engagement to uphold.

I'm living proof that a helmet will do nothing to protect your pancreas; sure it coulda been worse, but as an 8yo kid I had a tough recovery because they wouldn't give pain medications until the last minute, but I guess that's just another rant for another place and time.

I'm a newcomer here, but I would like to raise awareness for people who suffer from severe trauma. The nights of little to no sleep. The tears that are wept for something that happened 15 years ago like it just happened to you. Just here to let you know that you're not alone, and no matter what pain you feel, someone somewhere can help
