This may not completely address the argument that the unemployed are lazy, but I think one has to keep in mind what unemployment benefits are for us workers. It's an extremely good weapon against our employers. A high unemployment benefit means that we have less to fear when it comes to class struggle. So if anyone argues against unemployed people getting paid, they're talking about stripping the workers of an important weapon they can use to improve working conditions for themselves in the future.

Oooh, swimming is rly cool for this. When going swimming with your friends it's easy to alternate between playing or whatever and swimming with proper form for as long as possible. It may not be a replacement for a complete workout, but I like to use it as a substitute for triceps and lat workout for instance. Apart from that, I think it's good for like lung capacity and it's also healthy for ur joints. Other watersports concerning: I did some Kajaking last summer and I gotta tell you, ur arms are gonna be sore af from that. Only bummer is, ur legs are left out completely there.

Apart from that, I personally think running in itself is fun. But thinking of actually fun ways to run, then Football, Baseball or Parkour come to mind. Since I know a person that hates running, but loves cycling, ig cycling is a good substitute for running.

Presently, I prefer to just do weight lifting. Since I'm still a student, i also get to do other sports easily, as that is a mandatory subject. Once i'm finished with school tho I imagine I'll stick with weight lifting. Tho I'm itching to try out MMA as well. Jiujitsu is another sport u may wanna try out. I did it for a few years and it's a very social sport where ure bound to meet new ppl.

Hope this helped OwO

Russia being the bad one in the war with Ukraine. I used to tell my mother, that one can totally be against both Russia and the US, and I just didn't get how she could talk abt them defending themselves from Nato and so on.

And then I became a dirty lil Commie.

Also the term "Tankie". I rly thought (due to influencers like NFKRZ) that tankies were stupid ppl who didn't understand history or so... AND THEN I BECAME A TANKIE - Proudly so.

Damn bro.. So many ppl are reading several books at once apparently. I don't think my brain could manage so much information at once honestly o.O

I'm reading "Blackshirts and Reds" by Parenti. Am on page 119 rn, and I gotta say I still enjoy Parenti's simpler style of writing as opposed to Marx'. Also I was surprised how Parenti went into detail abt czechoslovakia even. Specifically abt Vaclav Havél's privatization campaign. Never thought he'd go that direction. I feel like I learned a LOT through this book and I'll keep recommending it to everyone who hasn't read it. I think anyone can profit from reading this.

After I'm done with this book, I thought I might pick up Mao's "On Practice"? I read "Dialectical and Historical Materialism" by Stalin and "How to be a Good Communist" by Liu Shaoqi, so I hope that book might additionally help me understand philosophy more.

I talked with a communist the other day, who was advertising for a communist newspaper he, I'm guessing, works for. Well he asked me if I am organised, to which I said yes and we started talking. At some point I said smth positive abt China and he was like: "uh.. So China is socialist to you?". That's when I took a deep breath and started having a discussion with him.

I stated that there are only like 24 capitalists in the bottom part of the Party, which consists of thousands of people. I also said that the government is known to support workers on strike. But he in turn argued that the Chinese gov may support strikers, but since it's "state-capitalism" they still have to bend in the direction of the companies, cuz of the profits and so on. He also said that their economy is sure to collapse soon. I just thought abt the metric shitload of videos that comes out every year claiming China's economy will collapse any second now My guy cited the fact that Evergrande, a company that according to him makes up a rly big part of their economy, filed for bankrupcy in the US or so.

Well quite frankly I was standing there, I'd say a pretty good understanding of China, but I couldn't outright refute his claims or present a compelling counterargument. So I've been looking forward to talking with any comrade abt that so that I could learn abt how to deal with this in the future, and to learn abt valid counter arguments as well.

Once socialism has brought us world wide communism, sure UwU But honestly I don't think Anarchists and Communists could coexist in times where it would be important to establish the dictatorship of the proletariat. Or generally, in times where Communism hasn't yet been brought about. The Anarchists would simply disagree with our approach and fight against it, I assume. So I'd say they'd stand in our way big time.. Same with the Trotskyists.

I don't know u, but i wish nothing but the best to you! It's totally cool to not be political or to try to structure your life around something not political, totally ur choice. Who am I to judge that? I don't think personally anyone has the right to do so. I found for instance that, committing to communism at heart and starting to organize, really gave me some porpuse as I suddenly started learning a lot and found some really cool and likeminded ppl. Well but that doesn't rly solve a lot of the mental issues i'm facing, therefore I also need to go see a psychologist. But ultimately I can also understand why one would choose to limit the political aspect of ones life, especially since it does take a lot of ones time and energy. Still, hope to see u 'round.

Edit: Also, that is a pretty sick pfp o.O

I was thinking about this video for some time now. Wonderful, old, quaint custom my ass. I'm sure all those collected pennies add up to a decent sum of money, couldn't that be used for idk at least feeding the homeless or smth? Also what's that mayor even wearing? The brits really went ahead and saved every deeply shameful tradition they ever had.

Yeaah learned that the hard way. I made an utter cringe post once with way too many stupid assumptions even though I understood like the principles of Marxism and that's it. Past me shouldn't have presented himself as totally sure of these statements, and instead been like 'what should I make of that?'. Just by a simple change of attitude - way less trauma xD. I wonder if the guy in the screenshot learned from his mistake?

My father's family are a bunch of monarchists. Literally confused as heck. They're like, 'At least our leaders would fight at the frontlines in war!' and stuff like that.

Btw, those ppl fled Czechoslovakia in '87, cuz my grandpa's a notorious conspiracy theorist. To this day he's pissed about the government having broken into his home afterwards and confiscating all his stuff including his conspiracy-theory-book collection. They believe my gramps can cure wounds by hovering with his hands above them..

So yeah, not the most sensible ppl in the world.

I'd advocate for the innovative art of brick throwing.
