What RSS reader are you using? My feeds don't work with FreshRSS but Thunderbird can still access them (with low refreshing rates).

Step 1: Don't use Google Docs.
A shop that's been around for ages and is very generous when it comes to adding extra stuff to a big order - our local group is ordering there for many years now: https://www.ixsoft.de/cgi-bin/web_store.cgi (see "Fan-Artikel" then "Aufkleber" - yes, the website looks dated, I know)
Linux Mint does not support i3, if you use it, you will be much on your own. These distros support i3 officially: https://distrowatch.com/search.php?desktop=i3#simple
Quick question: why are you talking about KDE's Dolphin? Did you install that instead the default software? If yes, did you check if "Disks" (that comes with Cinnamon) is showing your devices?
Oh that's what you were looking for. Well, you can do that with one click like this: Go to a search engine you want to add, right click anywhere in the address bar, then you get that green +button to add it. Does that work for you?

For me the search has a dropdown list now where I can select the search engine.

Congratulations are in order!
