Just off the top of my head but I think you’re on the right path when it comes to sounding more eloquent. Poetry probably came from people messing around and playing with words to find what sounds interesting.

You’re already good to go on rhyming. So maybe just try for different rhyme schemes.

You might could also add other whatever-they’re -calleds like alliteration, consonance, metaphors, etc. Each of those are just a tools in the poet’s toolbox.

But what do I know!

I think you’re right and maybe that’s why I prefer horror movies so much over literally all else. And to your point about being outside of Hollywood, I really appreciate it when I don’t recognize any of the actors. It makes it much more immersive for me. Usually much better camera work and lighting too. And Less CGI - atleast the better ones. I hate it when the whole screen is just really good animation :(

So many if not all of the faults of the US where the average citizen would benefit don’t benefit the wealthy and so things remain the same. And many if not all of the faults that benefit the wealthy harm the average citizen. The US government does not care about the average citizen they care about the wealthy class and nothing more.

It’s not a “we just can’t seem to pull it off” and more of a “they won’t let us”

Awesome! This is a hobby that I would really like to explore. I watch a ton of YouTube videos on the subject.

Does anyone know a community for really old computers? Like UsagiElectric or Adrian’s Digital Basement type stuff?

I think the person you were talking to had not really given as much thought into the subject.

Not sure if this is meant to be negative or positive but I for one like all the growing pains and issues. It makes the whole experience a little more engaging for me. I really like reading up on what problems are happening and how the teams are working towards solutions. I especially like the technical details that are just a little over my head because it’s fun to learn about!

Just spend a fortune on nice wooden ones that are sturdy and a nice shade of fancy wood you like & never worry about hangers ever again. And make sure the hardware suits the fancy particular wood you choose. Don’t want a pine/gold (ick!) fiasco happening in that closet! Be sure to buy a couple hundred so you don’t run out!

If it were me I’d go like a nice dark walnut and anodized black hardware. That would look so stealthy and cool!

Or just do like I actually do and get free wooden ones off Facebook marketplace! Lol

Heck no. I think telling the kids was the right move. If she was worried about what they might think of her maybe she should not have had the affair to start with????

Anything that’s so heavily advertised is a big red flag to me. To me it feels like they’re spending more on advertising than making a decent product and hoping people buy it instead of letting the product speak for itself. But that’s not necessarily only about Nord…
