My absolute biggest gripe about the failings of proper UI design is icons with no text attached.

Floppy, okay surely the save button. Some book looking thing, no fucking clue. An eye in the middle of a square, what the fuck are you people doing???

Having to hover over a weird looking icon to MAYBE gleam some sort of information on it takes so much longer than just having the fucking text below the God damn icon. Sometimes they don’t even have hover text! Thats GREAT UI skills there, Junior! Maybe you’ll get there eventually!

Fucking idiots.

Yeah, I had it on PC and while there were plenty of bugs, I still beat it before patch 1.06 or whatever came out. Still had quite a lot of fun!

Now, the console releases on the other hand... yikes man. Yikes...

Voluntary censorship is just so weird to me... Like, people died so you could speak freely, and yet you censor fkn... Wow.

I use StartAllBack (I guess it's the same developer?) and love how it made File Explorer more robust again. :)

As someone who has been on Linux (openSUSE Tumbleweed) for almost 6-7 months now, I still don't understand how to get some of my programs running in Wine. I tried Bottles, and that's a little better, but it still leaves MUCH to be desired. I have two SSDs in my computer, one Windows and one Linux, and that's how I do some of my stuff. Lutris works for some things, but I generally don't like having 3-4 programs that are trying to do the same thing, but it only works on 1-2 of those programs. In my opinion, it's a little silly, but I've mainly just given up on trying to make all of that work and just boot into Windows when I need something done quickly without having to jump through hoops. I love Linux, but it is still lacking in some areas.

The best part about Linux, though, is that we can potentially fix our issues with a little bit of collaboration, whereas with Windows, you're stuck with whatever M$ wants you to have. It's something, at least! :)

I love PowerToys Run. The Command Palette is ass compared to it. PT Run is basically KRunner from KDE, and I'm absolutely here for it. Finding things (that you have properly indexed) is so fast and easy!

Haha! Thank you for the explanation! I never looked into MicroOS, because I heard of Tumbleweed and wanted to give it a go since I tried one distro (it has been so long I can't even remember right now) and didn't like it too much.

Yeah, when things are working, and it might take a day or so to setup something else completely, I definitely understand your hesitation! :)

I got a Dell computer that was headed towards the dump from some older people, and installed TrueNAS Scale onto it. It has almost replaced my Synology I got three years ago, I just need to bite the bullet and buy new drives for it!

Every time I see the girl (I don't know what this anime is) she just reminds me of Yukari from Persona 3. :P

Unfortunately, with Nintendo, nothing is yours any longer. So, I expect these types of projects to be sniped in the coming years. I know and understand what you're posting here, but Nintendo does not give a fuck any longer.
